Over the last couple of years, I have had to turn away potential athletes due to lack of time on my end and/or potential athletes not able to afford to be a part of my team, Rulon Racing with the 1:1 Premium Triathlon Coaching with Coach Jen. Honestly, it sucked!

And last year, I kept saying, I needed to bring another coach on or hire someone to help me out. Well, I have done exactly that! I have done both. Starting NOW, I will have Coach Bobby helping me with Premium Coaching ranging from Sprint to IM 70.3 Triathlons!

Let me have Bobby chat about is accomplishments, as I am super stoked to have him on board!

I was born in Sacramento, California as the child of an elementary school principal and a college baseball coach. So, from an early age, my knowledge and theories of education and athletics were already on track to set me up with an opportunity to help others. What I would decide to do with those skills took me a while to realize.

Coming from a very athletic family including several coaches and championship level athletes, I had a strong drive to participate in many sports as a kid. The direction I thought sports would take me in life as a kid was nowhere close to where sports have ended up taking me as an adult.

The journey to me becoming a triathlete was never in my original plans and came through life challenges and injuries preventing me from other sports.

While attending a college fire academy in 2007, it was brought to my attention that distance running was not a strength of mine and I was simply told I sucked at running any kind of long distance.

Challenge accepted!

As a child, I have several major ear issues and as a result, I avoided swimming for most of my life. After years or running and road bike racing, I was offered a chance to be paid to race triathlons if I could learn to swim in a few short months.

Challenge accepted!

With the many challenges I have faced through physical limitations or lack of experience, I have learned the power of setting goals, establishing a plan and committing to success all while finding a way to enjoy the process.

It is now my goal to guide you through your journey to help you reach your potential and enjoy the process. What is the next challenge you are going to accept?

In case you are wondering how my old challenges ended up, I have successfully completed a 100 mile trail ultra run, completed the worlds hardest duathlon, as well as finished my first 70.3 Triathlon within 6 months of learning to swim for the first time.
