For many people, it feels like 24 hours in a day just isn’t enough to fit in a workout. Juggling a career, family life, and maybe even studies can leave you with little to no time for exercise. But here’s the thing: you don’t have to give up on your fitness goals.

The secret is finding creative ways to fit exercise into your busy schedule. To help you get started, here are my “Five Rulon Rules for Crazy Busy People” to keep fitness a priority, no matter how hectic life gets:

Rulon Rules for Crazy Busy People

1. Choose Efficient Workouts

Opt for workouts that maximize results in minimal time. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), bodyweight exercises, and kettlebell training are fantastic for burning fat, building muscle, and boosting your metabolism—even after your workout ends. These options deliver big results without taking hours out of your day.

2. Focus on What You Enjoy

If you genuinely enjoy your workouts, you’ll be more likely to stick with them—even when you’re busy. Whether it’s dancing, hiking, or cycling, find an activity that feels more like fun than a chore. When you love what you’re doing, excuses disappear.

3. Make Exercise a Family Affair

If family commitments are eating into your workout time, combine the two! Activities like cycling, hiking, or even playing sports in the backyard can help you stay active while creating meaningful memories with your loved ones.

4. Workout in the Morning

Mornings can be the golden hour for workouts. By exercising first thing, you ensure that nothing else interferes with your fitness goals. It also sets a positive tone for the day ahead.

Reminder: Don’t sacrifice sleep to squeeze in a workout. Aim for at least 6–8 hours of quality sleep each night to stay energized and see results.

5. Exercise During Your Lunch Break

Your lunch break is a perfect opportunity to fit in a quick workout. A brisk 30-minute session followed by a shower and a healthy meal can leave you feeling refreshed and more productive for the rest of the day.

The Bottom Line:

Even with a packed schedule, there’s always a way to prioritize exercise. Whether it’s a quick morning session, a lunchtime sweat, or a family activity, you have the power to make fitness work for you.

No excuses—this is about showing up for yourself! You’ve got this! 💪
