It happened again last week.
Someone on social commented that I looked “too thin.”
Another person accused me of Photoshopping my abs.
Someone even suggested I must be starving myself.
Let me be clear:
I lift heavy.
I eat plenty.
I nourish my body, my mindset, and my nervous system.
I rest. I surf. I strength train.
I live fully in a body I’ve worked damn hard to reclaim in this chapter of life.
But here’s the thing I’ve learned:
The more you grow, the more people project.
Because when you start choosing strength over shrinking…
When you honor your hormones, your health, your boundaries…
When you stop asking for permission to take up space…
It will trigger people who haven’t done the same.

💥 If You’ve Felt Judged for Changing...
Maybe you’re navigating menopause, divorce, or a reinvention you didn’t see coming.
Maybe you’re a retired triathlete shifting into strength.
Maybe you’re building a business that reflects who you’ve become.
Wherever you are, this is your reminder:
📣 You’re not too much.
📣 You’re not “wrong” for evolving.
📣 You don’t owe anyone an explanation for taking care of yourself.
And yes, people may talk. They may judge.
But let them.
You’ve got bigger things to do.
So… What Do You Actually Do with the Judgment?
Here’s what I tell my clients:
Feel the sting. You’re human. You get to be annoyed or hurt.
Check your truth. Are you showing up in alignment with your values? Great. Keep going.
Use it as fuel. Every time someone misunderstands you, it’s an opportunity to clarify your message—and stand taller in your story.
