As I sit here in Costa Rica watching the tide roll in, I can feel how right this moment is.
In just a few days, I’ll be closing the container for my Rise with the Tides Retreat, and instead of urgency or pressure, what I feel most is peace.
Peace in knowing that what’s meant for me will never miss me.
Peace in trusting that what’s meant for others will always find them, too.
The Season of Surrender
When I first dreamed of hosting a retreat, I thought it would be about logistics: the planning, the programming, the making sure every little detail was “perfect.”
But this season has shown me something entirely different.
It’s been about surrender.
Over the past few months, I’ve spoken with dozens of women, each in her own season of change. Some said yes. Some said not yet. Six incredible women have committed, and with our yoga goddess Kelly and me, that makes eight of us total.
And I realized: that number feels perfect.
Not because it’s full but because it’s aligned.
This retreat has never been about filling spots.
It’s been about creating space.
Space for transformation.
Space for connection.
Space for the kind of conversations that change your life long after you leave the beach.
What the Tides Have Taught Me
The ocean has always been one of my greatest teachers. It reminds me to move when it’s time, to rest when I need to, and to trust the rhythm in between.
That’s what this experience has been about letting go of the push, the proving, and the old hustle energy that told me I had to force things to make them work.
Instead, I’ve learned to receive.
To allow.
To breathe.
The moment I stopped chasing outcomes and started trusting timing, everything softened; the right women appeared, the energy settled, and the container took shape in a way I couldn’t have planned better if I tried.
An Invitation to Trust Your Own Tide
Maybe you’re in your own season of waiting, wondering, or letting go. Maybe something in your life feels uncertain, unfinished, or slow to arrive.
If so, let this be your reminder:
You don’t have to force the tide.
You just have to be ready when it comes in. 🌊
And if you do feel a pull, that whisper of “maybe it’s my time,” trust it.
The Rise with the Tides Retreat still has space for two more women ready to move, breathe, and reconnect to themselves this December.
But whether you join us in Costa Rica or simply carry this message into your next chapter, know this: You are exactly where you’re meant to be.
The tides are set.
And we rise when we’re ready. 🌺
