There are very few things I share with my community unless they truly matter to me and this is a digital safety resource that I want to share with you today.
As a coach, mentor, and woman who works closely with families and women at all stages of life, I see how much stress parents and caregivers are carrying right now. So much of it lives quietly beneath the surface, especially when it comes to technology, social media, and the online world our kids are growing up in.
Most parents aren’t ignoring digital safety.
They’re overwhelmed by it.
The apps change. The risks evolve. The information online is often fear-based, extreme, or confusing. And that leaves parents either panicked or frozen.
That’s why I want to share a resource I genuinely trust.
Why I Trust Moe
Moe McClanahan is a retired Internet Crimes Against Children investigator and the founder of M2 CyberShield Consulting. She’s also someone I know personally and professionally and that matters.
I trust Moe because she is not fear-driven.
She doesn’t sensationalize.
She doesn’t overwhelm parents with worst-case scenarios.
Instead, she educates with clarity, calm, and real-world experience.
Moe teaches parents how predators actually reach kids online, what red flags really matter, and how to put simple, realistic monitoring habits in place without turning your household into a constant battlefield.
Her work is grounded in truth, integrity, and a deep respect for families.
About the Workshop Series
Moe is hosting a 3-part Virtual Digital Safety Workshop Series for Parents & Caregivers, designed to empower, not scare, the adults responsible for protecting kids.
The series includes:
January 27 — Stranger Danger & Monitoring
How predators reach kids online, common red flags, and practical monitoring habits every family should have in place — especially with new devices.
February 24 — Social Media & Gaming
From group chats to voice chats, friend requests to trending apps. What’s safe, what’s not, and how to set healthy boundaries without constant conflict.
March 23 — Online Solicitation, Exploitation & AI
Understanding grooming behaviors, harmful content, and how AI is evolving risk — including deepfakes and image-based abuse.
The workshops are hosted live on Zoom at 7:30pm ET, and the $99 series price includes access to recordings, which I love for busy families.
Who This Is For
This series is for:
Parents of kids of any age
Caregivers, grandparents, aunts, uncles
Anyone who wants to understand the online world kids are navigating right now
Adults who want education instead of fear
You don’t need to be tech-savvy. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to care and if you’re reading this, you already do.
Why I’m Sharing This
I don’t share programs lightly.
I’m sharing this because digital safety is emotional safety.
Because protecting kids starts with informed adults.
And because Moe’s work helps parents move from anxiety to confidence.
If this feels aligned for you or someone you love, I encourage you to learn more.

I’m incredibly proud of her and grateful for the work she’s doing in the world.
My hope is that this work reaches the families who need it most not from a place of fear, but from love, awareness, and a desire to protect what matters most.
